What Information We Collect

This site is built to run on as little personal data as possible. No account is required, nothing is sold, and there is no registration form to complete. In ordinary use you can read every page on Crazy Time without telling us who you are.

What does get recorded is technical and aggregated: the pages requested, the approximate region derived from your IP address, the device and browser type, the referring link and the time of the visit. If you email us, we necessarily hold the address you wrote from and whatever you chose to put in the message.

How the Information Is Used

Traffic data tells us which explanations people actually read, where they stop reading and which pages fail on smaller screens. That is the whole purpose: improving the content and keeping the site running, in line with the testing routine set out on our about page. It is never used to build advertising profiles or to identify individual readers.

Cookies and Analytics

A small number of cookies are used for basic site functionality and for anonymous traffic measurement. Analytics cookies record visits in aggregate — how many people arrived, from where, and what they opened — not who you are.

Every mainstream browser lets you block or delete cookies, and mobile browsers allow it too. Blocking them may change how some elements behave but will not lock you out of the guide. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. How Long Data Is Kept

Aggregated traffic statistics are retained for as long as they remain useful for editorial decisions. Email correspondence is kept while the matter is open and deleted once it is closed, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
